Chillin' in the Late Night

Summer nights of what seems to be insomnia all come together and eventually become awesome memories right? No, not really, not for the most part. So what's the point of staying up until one, three or even six in the morning sometimes? For me it's a time to just relax and forget about everything and just get to be alone and just have fun. It's kinda like breaking away from the rest of your real world and just being in your room. Listening to music, surfing the net (although it's proven to be boring many times) or just thinking. I don't know what it is about the night time that allows the time to fly. Why is it that five hours during the day seem so much longer than five hours during the night? I can't answer that but I can tell you that I like how that works out. Point is, even if your long summer nights seem pointless and they won't become something you'll keep stashed in your head along with great memories they are still a great part of life. I think it's one of the reasons why summer is so great, wouldn't you agree?
